STEM CELL THERAPY
Stem cell therapy is one of the most advanced fields in medicine, particularly in neuroscience and neurosurgery. This next-generation regenerative therapy harnesses cells from your own body to stimulate healing.
In this nonsurgical treatment, potent trophic factors from your cells can repair or restore tissue damaged or lost due to aging, disease, or injury. Stem cell therapy reduces pain, restores function, and even prevents further damage.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
3
Stem cells, like mesenchymal stem cells, are derived from your bone marrow or fat. These cells are not fully differentiated, which means they have the ability to become many different kinds of healthy cells, including those found in your spine and spinal discs. Essentially, stem cells facilitate new growth of healthy tissue within parts of your body that have degenerated or been injured.
The Re team collects bone marrow aspirate, usually extracted by minimally invasive needles. This bone marrow aspirate can then be injected into your spine at a location close to the site causing problems. Over time, the trophic factors from the stem cells will assist the body to repair and restore the tissue that was damaged or lost due to aging, disease, or injury. This provides new, healthy tissue around the damaged area.
WHAT CONDITIONS CAN IT TREAT?
Stem cell therapy treats many conditions, including back and neck pain. Early evidence from major international clinical trials indicate that stem cells can reduce lower back pain by more than 50% within one year after the therapy.
Doctors and researchers believe the pain relief comes from repaired spinal discs, which cushion shocks to your spine. Following stem cell transplant, the discs become rehydrated and regain some of their original volume. This repair of degeneration and injury can help with a variety of spinal conditions.
The team at the Re Innovative Neuroscience Institute uses its advanced technical expertise and commitment to state-of-the-art care to apply stem cell therapy treatment to conditions including:
-
Neck pain
-
Back Pain
-
Other peripheral joint pain
If you are experiencing any these, contact the Re office at (941) 893-2688 to make an appointment. Individual conditions may vary.

ONE OF MANY SUCCESSFUL CASES
A 72-year-old male underwent a minimally invasive lumbar surgery with adjunctive regenerative medicine treatment for spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, and multifidus muscle atrophy at L3-4.
Pictured below are one-year post-op MRI images demonstrating persistently satisfactory resolution of the stenosis and muscle atrophy as well as improved disc height and morphology.
